Terms of Use

Version 1.0 · Effective 9 September 2026. These terms are written in plain English. They do not take away rights the law gives you.

Vimpse is published by I Enterprise Ltd, company 13225768, Suite 2.06b, C4di @TheDock, 31–38 Queen Street, Hull HU1 1UU, United Kingdom. “We” means I Enterprise Ltd. “You” means the person using the app or this website. Contact: info@vimpse.com.

1. The short version

  • Vimpse saves start and finish points in videos you choose, on your phone.
  • YouTube videos play through YouTube. You also agree to YouTube’s Terms of Service when you use those features.
  • You must have the right to use and, if you share, to share the videos you add.
  • Pro is a one-time Play purchase. Refunds follow Google Play and applicable law.
  • Nothing here overrides mandatory consumer law in your country.

2. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install Vimpse on Android devices you own or control, for your own use, in line with these terms. You must not sell, rent, white-label, or reverse-engineer the app except where the law (including CDPA 1988 ss.50B and 50BA in the UK) says we cannot stop you.

3. YouTube

By using YouTube features in Vimpse you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Vimpse uses the YouTube embedded player and public oEmbed/thumbnail URLs. We do not download YouTube audiovisual content. Availability of a video is YouTube’s, not ours. YouTube may show ads. YouTube Premium in the YouTube app may not apply to the embed.

4. Your content and sharing

You are responsible for the videos you add and for anything you share. Do not add or share material you do not have the right to use. Sharing personal video can reveal other people; get permission where you should. Collection files are not encrypted. Titles in a shared Wall are visible to the recipient.

5. Google Drive

Not offered in the current app. If it is added, extra terms will describe scopes, ownership and revocation before the feature is switched on.

6. Pro

Vimpse Pro is sold through Google Play as a one-time product. Play’s terms apply to the payment. We do not see your full card number. Restore on a new device uses the same Google account that bought Pro. Prices shown in the app come from Play at the time of purchase.

7. Acceptable use

Do not use Vimpse to infringe copyright, to harass, or to break the law. We may refuse support or, where we control distribution, access if you do.

8. Availability

YouTube, Google Play and Android can change or go down. Vimpse cannot promise those services will remain available or behave as they do today.

9. Changes and ending use

We may update these terms. The date at the top will change. If you do not agree, uninstall. Uninstalling deletes the on-device library unless you exported it.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, except that mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence still apply. If you are a consumer in the UK, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
