Car Fixes

The procedure is 47 seconds. The video is 28 minutes.

You do not want the intro, the tool list, or the outro. You want the bleed sequence while you are holding a spanner.

Instead of finding the same twenty-minute repair video every time, save the 47 seconds showing the exact step. Save 08:42–09:29 (or whatever the useful range is) as a video bookmark on a Wall called Car Fixes. Next job, you open that tile. Vimpse starts at the start and stops at the finish inside its player.

Why not just a timestamp?

A timestamp gets you to 08:42. Then the video runs on while you are trying to copy the move. A Vimpse is the section. Put brake jobs on one Wall and DIY on another so you are not scrolling past cake videos in the garage. See timestamps vs a saved section and Walls.

Vimpse does not download the repair video. If YouTube removes it, the tile cannot play. Keep that in mind for jobs you might need offline — that is a phone-video problem, not a YouTube one.
